Chancellor Helmut Schmidt asked Bill for two years in a row to create a bar for his Summer Festival in Bonn and the President of Germany, Richard von Weizsäcker had him host his VIP bar for the Nordic Ski Championships in Oberstdorf in 1987 and again in 2005!
